Auchentoshan is a small-batch whisky producer with its distillery is located in Dalmuir, near Glasgow, Scotland. The Auchentoshan name comes from the Gaelic ‘Achadh an t-Oisein’, which translates to “the field of the corner”. All of its bottlings are Lowland Single Malt style, which are required to be in aged in casks for a minimum of three years. Auchentoshan produces Scotch in Twelve-Year Old, Eighteen-Year Old, and Twenty-One-Year-Old expressions, as well as the Three Wood (Scotch matured in three different casks), and American Oak (matured in ex-Bourbon casks). It has released unique bottlings, like a 50-Year Old Scotch made in 1957 that was released in 2008.
